Patrick Bruton, DPM
Patrick Bruton, DPM was born and raised in Abilene, TX. After graduating from Cooper High School, he attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where he achieved a BS in Criminal Justice/Prelaw in 1991. Dr. Bruton continued his undergraduate education at Baylor University / Abilene Christian University, earning a BS in Biology/Premed in 1994. Dr. Bruton went on to pursue his medical degree at Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL, graduating with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2000, and then completed his medical residency at Midwestern Region Medical Center in Chicago, IL in 2002.
As a podiatric physician and surgeon with 21 years of experience, Dr. Bruton has affiliations with several hospitals in Texas including Abilene Regional/Hendrick Medical Center and Hendrick Medical Center South and Mitchell County Hospital. He is also a member of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the Texas State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Bruton is active in his community and is a member of both the Masonic Lodge and Suez Shriners. He actively supports the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Shrine Hospital for Children. He is an active member of TASO (Texas Association of Sports Officials) and in his spare time, officiates high school football, baseball, and little league. He also enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, motor sports, and is a life-long Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan.
